Chalhoub Group offers a job opportunity in Saudi Arabia to work as a shop manager. The shop manager is responsible for managing the team ensuring to achieve the sales targets through outstanding guest experience, deliver sales reports, and manage efficiently the stock as he/she will be fully accountable of the inventory process and result. In addition, you will be accountable for the implementation of the company’s policies and procedures. 

Eligibility:

You must have:

  • University degree preferably in business administration or marketing.
  • From 4 to 5 years preferably in retail shop management.
  • The required competencies for the job which include:
    • Entrepreneurial spirit.
    • Excellence in the work.
    • Respect.

Your Responsibilities:

You will be responsible of:

  1. Conduct sales analysis, follow up on market trends and monitor the competition’s activity.
  2. Propose ways to improve the business: in store merchandizing, opening hours, product mix…
  3. Produce quantitative and qualitative sales report.
  4. Be present in the shop floor to generate sales and handling VIP customers.
  5. Identify customer potential needs and use initiatives to meet those needs.
  6. Ensure consistency in guest experience delivered  and handle all complaints.
  7. Ensure building, maintaining and using the customer data base.
  8. Enter all received goods and ensure stock control and proper record of all stock movements.
  9. Supervise the replenishment process to avoid and report any over stock along with the suggested corrective action.
  10. Prepare for the inventory.
  11. Coordinate with the back office, suppliers, logistics, marketing and merchandizing team regards of new launches, in store animation or renovation and provide feedback accordingly.
  12. Follow up on different issues with mall management such as mall promotions, permits, security…
  13. Maintain high standards of visual merchandising housekeeping in term of cleanness, display, lighting and stock rotation.
  14. Implement all merchandising as per the brand’s visual merchandising guidelines.
  15. Conduct daily walk throughs to check presentation standards.    
  16. Prepare schedule to ensure full coverage of the shop floor and maintain grooming standards of the staff.
  17. Can be involved in the recruitment process of shop staff and sales executives within your domain.
  18. Manage, engage and delegate the responsibilities of  the team reporting to you.
  19. Conduct  the appraisal and assessment of own team members.
  20. Coaching and training own team members.
