Al Futtaim is currently looking to recruit an experienced sales manager on the Eicher bus in Dubai. Reporting to the divisional manager, you will focus on sales of Eicher product range, Eicher product range handlers through current customers’ base & expand customer base for FAMCO. You will be responsible for achieving budgeted targets, constant feedback on market requirements to meet stocking levels to achieve budgeted market potential.

Eligibility:

You should possess the following qualifications, knowledge and skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
  • A good understanding of commercial vehicles in general and the bus market.
  • From 5 to 7 years’ experience in selling commercial vehicles, buses in particular.
  • Adequate knowledge of commercial vehicles – buses local market.
  • An existing customer base in the local market for commercial vehicles – buses.
  • Excellent communication, presentation skills & good team player.
  • Passion for continuous learning & improvement.
  • UAE driving license.

Your Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for:

  1. Contributing to the achievement of revenue, unit sales and customer engagement through effective sales process management, increasing customer retention and efficient distribution strategy.
  2. Provides support to the national sales manager for the preparation of the annual budget and business proposals, which highlight major activities planned for achieving and exceeding set targets.
  3. Seek out and target new customers and new sales opportunities, initiate action plans to approach and secure new business for the division.
  4. Proactively manage customer requirements for on-time delivery taking into account lead-times, specification changes and demand.
  5. Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with key contacts.
  6. Gathers market information on competitor activities to ensure the divisions' competitive edge in product, pricing, services and systems.
  7. Able to manage every element of the sales process on an individual level.
  8. Remain abreast of the latest regulations, standards and good working practices within the commercial vehicles industry.
