Artist Residency Opportunity in Portugal

Zaratan offers artists - looking for diversity across all mediums and disciplines, ranging from the emerging to the established - the opportunity to be part of its Artist In Residence program for 1 to 3 months to develop a project as well as reflect and consolidate their artistic practice.  The program provides a private workspace, a creative and thrilling artistic community, exhibition opportunities, and professional development for international artists in Lisbon, Portugal.

Zaratan will assist artists with formal letters of invitation by enabling the artist/collective to raise funds to cover the residency as well as the artist’s production costs, living costs, and travel expenses.  Plus, once a year, Zaratan offers a 4-week residency grant, which will cover studio and accommodations for one artist/collective selected through the application process.
