Photocrowd is pleased to announce that registration is open in the Made of Wood Photo Contest, which aims to highlight the importance of wood in everyday life. Wood gives human shelter, allows to travel and transport by sea, road and rail, and to cultivate land. Photographers are encouraged to use their images to show appreciation for the skills, creativity and craftsmanship behind pieces that are made of wood, and allow the viewer to see something new in what might be an everyday object such as a serving dish, a spade handle, a chair, or a wooden building.
