This position is located in the Secretariat of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD). The Director of the Division on Globalization and Development Strategies reports to the Secretary-General and the Deputy Secretary-General of UNCTAD.

Education

Advanced university degree (Masters degree or equivalent) in economics or in a related social sciences field is required. A first-level university degree in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
A third-level university degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) in economics or related social sciences field is desirable.
