Winning Writers is looking for talented Poets to participate in Poetry competition and Submit published or unpublished work Authors and Win $2,250.

Eligibility:

No fee to enter.
Length limit: 250 lines maximum.
No restriction on the age of the author.
Authors from all countries eligible except Syria, Iran, North Korea, and Crimea (due to US government restrictions).

Prizes:

First Prize: $1,000 plus a two-year gift certificate from our co-sponsor, Duotrope (a $100 value)
Second Prize: $250
Honorable Mentions: 10 awards of $100 each
Top 12 entries published online
The results of the competition will be announced on August 15, 2020.

About:

Winning Writers finds and creates quality resources for poets and writers. It was founded by Jendi Reiter and Adam Cohen in 2001. It is located in Western Massachusetts. They sponsor four annual contests: the Wergle Flomp Humor Poetry Contest (no fee), the North Street Book Prize for self-published books, the Tom Howard/John H. Reid Fiction & Essay Contest, and the Tom Howard/Margaret Reid Poetry Contest.
