Charles Darwin University (CDU) is offering the Global Excellence Award to international students from anywhere in the world on a student visa who have a record of academic excellence and high achievement for 2020. The scholarships are awarded on demonstrated academic merit and are available to students seeking to commence an undergraduate or postgraduate degree at CDU in Semester 1, 2020 in Australia.

Eligibility Criteria:

Must have an 80-100 percentile score on the application, submit two references and a statement outlining why they should be awarded a scholarship.
Must meet the University’s academic and English entry requirement.
Should not hold any other scholarship from an Australian or foreign sponsorship agency.
Must not hold current Australian Citizenship, Australian Permanent Resident or a New Zealand Citizenship.
Must have submitted a completed scholarship application by 15 November 2019 for commencement in Semester 1, 2020.
To retain the scholarship in subsequent semesters, the recipient must maintain satisfactory academic progress each semester with a minimum GPA of 4.5 with no fail grade in any subject.
Maintain a full-time enrollment of 40 credit points each semester of study or as per your study plan.
Pay the remaining balance of your tuition on or before the start of each semester; the tuition fee scholarship will be credited directly to your student account up to two weeks after census date each semester.
The scholarship is neither transferable for cash nor refundable and cannot be transferred to another person, semester, course or year.
Note: Students are required to inform CDU Global via email international@cdu.edu.au of any visa status changes immediately as this may result in a termination of the scholarship.
The Global Excellence Award is very competitive and meeting the minimum eligibility standards described above does not guarantee that you will be awarded a scholarship.
All applicants who meet the minimum eligibility standards will be included in the selection process. The decision of the University selection panel is final.

Scholarship Amount:

The tuition scholarships apply to the tuition fees for the full duration of an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree covering 50% for the first year of study and 10% ongoing.
