Queen Mary University in the UK invites its students from any country with talent and musical interests to apply for music scholarships while continuing their studies at the University. The grant is given for one year, can be extended for up to a maximum of three years.

Benefits:

£350 is provided each year to cover the cost of instrumental or vocal tuition during the academic year. the amount is paid directly to the instrumental or vocal tutor at the start of each academic year.
Students will have free access to the Music Rooms at all available times and have priority booking.

Terms and Conditions:

The beneficiary should make a significant contribution to the musical life at Queen Mary University.
Students who have firmly accepted an unconditional offer or are currently enrolled in a full-time program at Queen Mary are eligible.
The Music Director will assign tutors. Also, the students can choose tutors in consultation with the Director of Music.

The grant is awarded for another academic year according to:

Academic progression.
A report providing by the tutor that demonstrate the scholar’s commitment and progress.

Payments are stopped in the following cases:

The student repeats the year.
Student withdraws from the course.

Note: Queen Mary can make a short profile of the accepted student and use it (with permission) in marketing and publicity.
