INTO and the University of Stirling offers scholarships to help ambitious international students to achieve their goals of studying at a world-class university in the UK. With a range of generous scholarships on offer, you could be eligible to receive funding to help towards your tuition fees – regardless of your background or financial circumstance.

Do I qualify for a scholarship?

To find out whether you are eligible to apply, you’ll need to take a look at the requirements for each individual scholarship. If you are not eligible for one particular scholarship, there may be another that you can apply for instead. Please be aware that successful scholarship holders will be expected to:

  1. Successfully meet all remaining conditions for entry to their chosen course.
  2. Maintain excellent attendance and complete all work during their course.

What types of scholarship are available?

  1. Regional Scholarship: If you're starting an International Foundation, International Diploma or Graduate Diploma pathway at INTO University of Stirling, you could be eligible for a scholarship of up to £3,000 towards your tuition fees.
    • Courses: International Foundation and Graduate Diploma
    • Start dates: June 2019, September 2019 or January 2020
    • Maximum value: £3,000
    • Eligibility: All scholarships are awarded on merit. Please contact the Educational Counsellor or Enrolment Services Advisor for further information.
  2. International Foundation/International Year One Progression Scholarship: Receive an offer to study at the University of Stirling after your International Foundation pathway and you could be eligible for a scholarship of up to £3,000 for your first year of university degree study, depending on your final grades: (1) Completing International Foundation with 60% or above: £1,000, (2) Completing International Foundation with 70% or above: £2,000 and (3) Completing International Foundation with 80% or above: £3,000.
    • Courses: International Foundation and Undergraduate Degree with International Year One
    • Start date: September 2019
    • Maximum value: £3,000
    • Eligibility: To apply for this scholarship, students must successfully complete an International Foundation programme with a final grade of 60% or more at INTO University of Stirling, and have an offer for a University of Stirling degree programme.
  3. International Year Two Progression Scholarship: Receive an offer to study at the University of Stirling after your International Year Two pathway and you could be eligible for a scholarship of up to £3,000 for your first year of university degree study, depending on your final grades: (1) Completing International Foundation with 60% or above: £1,000, (2) Completing International Foundation with 70% or above: £2,000 and (3) Completing International Foundation with 80% or above: £3,000.
    • Course: Undergraduate Degree with International Year Two
    • Start date: September 2019
    • Maximum value: £3,000
    • Eligibility: To apply for this scholarship, students must successfully complete an International Year Two programme with a final grade of 60% or more at INTO University of Stirling, and have an offer for a University of Stirling degree programme.
  4. Enhanced International Foundation/International Year One Progression Scholarship: To apply for this scholarship, students must successfully complete an International Foundation programme with a final grade of 60% or more at INTO University of Stirling, and have an offer for a University of Stirling degree programme.
    • Course: International Foundation and Undergraduate Degree with International Year One
    • Start date: September 2019
    • Maximum value: £6,000
    • Eligibility: This scholarship is eligible for students from Africa, Latin America, Pakistan, Egypt, Jordan, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, and Lebanon.
  5. Enhanced International Year Two Progression Scholarship: To apply for this scholarship, students must successfully complete an International Year Two programme with a final grade of 60% or more at INTO University of Stirling, and have an offer for a University of Stirling degree programme.
    • Course: Undergraduate Degree with International Year Two
    • Start date: September 2019
    • Maximum value: £4,000
    • Eligibility: This scholarship is eligible for students from Africa, Latin America, Pakistan, Egypt, Jordan, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, and Lebanon

How much money is on offer?

The amount of money available through scholarships can vary. Remember that a scholarship will only cover some of your tuition fees. You will still have to fund your remaining tuition fees and your accommodation, insurance, visa and other living costs in full.
