Enel Group in collaboration with OpenInnovability invites all creatives who are passionate about education to submit their ideas for its 2019 challenge, to produce solutions for education obstacles in developing countries, such as poverty, gender, and social inequality, conflict and population displacement, and exclusion of women and people with disabilities.

This challenge is considered a part of Enel Groups' efforts to contribute effectively to achieving the UN SDGs.

Phases of the Challenge:

  1. As a Solver, you will submit your solutions, and an Enel technical panel will evaluate your proposal and might contact you to gather additional information.
  2. Your innovative proposal will be evaluated based on technical parameters, economic and business impact for Enel. The presentation of the proposal will also be evaluated.
  3. At the end of the assessment, you will receive feedback.
  4. In case of success, an Enel contact person will get in touch with you to discuss the next steps.

Conditions of the Challenge:

  1. By submitting your Proposed Solution(s) you agree to provide additional information concerning your Proposed Solution to the Seeker if requested. 
  2. And also by submitting your solution you represent that the proposed solution does not contain and will not be deemed to contain any confidential information of any kind whatsoever.
  3. OpenInnovability will notify you whether a Seeker will be continuing to evaluate your Proposed Solution for further business discussions or rejects your Proposed Solution. If Seeker is continuing to evaluate your Proposed Solution, there is no set timeframe by which Seeker must decide whether it is interested in negotiating with you to establish a services agreement or other contractual relationship. The Seeker has absolute and sole discretion to determine whether to proceed with any further business negotiations or discussions surrounding a Proposed Solution.
  4. At the time you send any Proposed Solution, in whole or in part, to OpenInnovability, and whether or not your Proposed Solution is selected by a Seeker, the Proposed Solution and associated materials (if any) shall become the property of Seeker and will not be returned.

Award:

There is no cash award guaranteed for the winning solution, since this is a eRFP Challenge, stands for electronic Request for Partners or suppliers, seeks to provide materials or expertise to help solve a business Challenge. Seekers try to find businesses or consultants that have already developed the technology they need or have the experience to help them develop it. Consequently, eRFP winners typically negotiate the terms of the contract directly with the seeking organization.

Required Documents:

  1. Abstract of the proposed solution, in length of 250 characters max, plus its description in the length of 32.768 characters max.
  2. Criticalities of the solution, and its advantages, in the length of 510 characters max each.
