The University of Melbourne invites you to apply for its scholarship. This scholarship supports first-year students who do not have enough money to complete their university studies, so it helps them to enroll in college by paying 50 percent of their tuition fees. This grant is given by F. J. Cato in the memory of Dr. Una Porter, the World President of the YWCA. The scholarship is opened on August 21, 2019, and you must submit your application before 30 November 2019 as it will be closed on this date so do not postpone your application after this date. If you are accepted at this opportunity, you will receive funding to support your college fees. This scholarship is available to Australian and local students as well as international students. Once you have won this scholarship, you will receive $ 13,876. Students studying in any field of study can apply for this scholarship but only two vacant seats available.

Eligibility:

You need to be accepted as a resident at Queen's College in order to apply for this opportunity.
You must be enrolled, or intend to enroll, in the first year of an undergraduate degree at the University of Melbourne to receive the grant of the opportunity.
You should demonstrate a financial disadvantage.
Judges will choose between the eligible applicants according to their academic merit and an interview process.
As part of the application process for residency at Queen's College, you may select all relevant scholarships you wish to apply for while completing your application.
The scholarship is offered at the same time as the offer of residency, typically in December, and occasionally in January.

Funding:

If you are accepted at this scholarship you will have a fifty percent fee remission for one year of residency at Queen's College.
