Discovery is offering its Finance Internship Program for students and graduates, which entails unique opportunity for them to immerse themselves in the entertainment and media industry and learn from the leader in global entertainment.

Duration of this Program:

This is a 12-week program, from January 27th-April 17th 2020.

Eligible Candidates:

Current Junior, Senior, or Graduate student (proof of enrollment will be required if selected for an internship).
Have at least a 3.0 GPA.
Have the legal right to work in the United States.

Intern Tasks:

Finance Intern will work on projects and tasks such as:

Learning Ledger closing and reporting, SOX compliance, and SEC filing.
Participating in larger macro and microeconomic analyses of factors that drive business.
Exposure to internal audit testing & documentation.
Some intern positions may provide exposure to external financial reporting and internal control reporting.
Assisting in the reconciliation of several general ledger accounts.
setting-up projects to accumulate costs and ultimately capitalize on show costs for various Discovery programs.

Note that: Interns are responsible for securing their own housing in New York City.
