A significant number of scholarships are offered to international students each year at Keio University in Japan;
Keiō University or Keiō Gijuku University is a private Japanese university located in Tokyo. It was founded in 1858 by Yukichi Fukuzawa as a private school for Western studies and opened its first university faculty in 1890. It is said to be named after the Keiō era, which preceded the Meiji era, from 1865 to 1868.
