Institution: Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers (SNAME)

Purpose: To aid students who are seeking a master's degree in a marine-related subject.

Eligibility: Applicants must be members of the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers (SNAME) or another respected marine society. They must be pursuing a master's degree in naval architecture, ocean engineering, marine engineering or another marine-related subject. Students who will be completing their degree before April 15 of the award disbursement year are ineligible. Selection is based on the overall strength of the application.
