Workshop for Beginning Historians and Early Career Researchers.

The Event

This two-day workshop brings together young researchers (PhD candidates, post-doctoral scholars) working in the intersecting fields of global and transnational history, network analysis and studies of violence. The programme will feature a mixture of papers by expert speakers and presentations from participants.

Contributors will briefly present on their research areas followed by focused discussions that aim to unearth common themes and connections between individual projects, theories, and frameworks. In preparation for the workshop, participants are expected to submit a short paper (2000 – 3000 words) addressing the workshop themes and to read selected articles to be provided by the organizers in the lead-up to the event.

This event follows on from another international workshop for postgraduates and ECRS that was held in Zurich in January of this year. To see the full program and the speakers at this workshop, please visit https://workshopviolenceandnetworks.wordpress.com/
