Department Information
 

The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry is seeking a pool of candidates for potential part-time employment for the spring, summer, and/or fall academic semesters during 2021. We currently offer ACS accredited B.S. degrees in chemistry and biochemistry, as well as specialty tracks in forensics, pharmaceutical chemistry, and chemistry education. The Department provides extensive internship and research opportunities for students in its degree programs and launched a M.S. in Chemistry and Biochemistry Fall 2013. Job Summary
 

The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Kennesaw State University is creating a pool of qualified applicants for potential part-time employment opportunities to teach introductory courses/labs related to chemistry and biochemistry beginning January 2021.


Responsibilities
 

Responsibilities include preparing and delivering undergraduate lectures and/or labs, developing assessments, assessing undergraduate students’ mastery of learning outcomes, and providing timely feedback to students.


Required Qualifications
 
  • An earned Master’s degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a closely related field with at least 18 graduate hours in chemistry, biochemistry, or a closely related field.

Preferred Qualifications
 
  • Prior teaching experience
