Institution: Health Professions Education Foundation
Purpose: To aid licensed vocational nurses in California who are pursuing an associate's degree in nursing.
Eligibility: Applicants must be licensed vocational nurses (LVNs) who are enrolled in or have been accepted into an accredited associate's degree in nursing (ADN) program in the state of California. They must be attending or planning to attend school at least part-time (six or more credits per semester) and must commit to two years of nursing practice in an underserved area of California after graduation. Selection is based on the overall strength of the application.
