Institution: Thurgood Marshall Scholarship Fund
Purpose: To provide support to the nation's 47 historically black public colleges and universities by offering merit-based scholarships.
Eligibility: Applicants must be currently enrolled or planning to enroll as full-time students at one of the 47 TMSF member schools and have a minimum 3.0 high school GPA. Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to academic excellence and community service and show financial need. Winners need to maintain a 3.0 GPA for the duration of the scholarship. Applicants must submit a head shot photograph, letters of recommendation, essay and resume.
