Institution: American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE)
Purpose: To encourage heating, ventilating, air conditioning and refrigeration education.
Eligibility: Applicants must be full-time undergraduates majoring in engineering or pre-engineering in a related course of study approved by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) or another accrediting agency recognized by ASHRAE with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Selection is based on leadership, character and potential contribution to the heating, ventilating, air conditioning or refrigeration profession. Applicants must also submit three recommendations from instructors and an official transcript.
