The American Political Science Association (APSA) is pleased to announce a Call for Applications from PhD students and Faculty Members based in the Arab MENA region who are interested in attending the 2020 Summer Workshop held at the Maxwell School of Syracuse University in the United States. 

Eligibility Criteria:

  1. Participants must be PhD students and Faculty Members
  2. Participants must be proficient in English and commit to attending the 2-week program in full.

Benefits:

  1. The costs for participation for invited scholars
  2. Round trip economy-class airfare
  3. Meals
  4. accommodation for the duration of the program. 

Note: Participants will be responsible for securing their visa to the United State

Required Documents:

All application materials must be in English and uploaded in a pdf or Word file format before the deadline.

  • A Curriculum Vitae
  • A Cover Letter:
  1. Summarizing your main ongoing research project
  2. Indicating why you wish to attend the workshop, 
  3. Any previous methodology training
  4. How this opportunity will benefit your research plans and/or professional development.
  • One Letter of Recommendation scanned as an electronic file.
