Zain Bahrain is offering a job opportunity as a full-time Civil Engineer, as it is actively recruiting for this role. The selected candidate will be working on planning, managing and reviewing the design and construction of new or existing communication structures for telecommunication sites as well as provide advice on all civil engineering aspects of the company’s operations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering;
Minimum of 3-5 years’ of civil engineering experience or relative field of work;
Knowledge of the construction/telecom industry is preferred;
Able to solve technical problems;
Good human relations and motivational skills
Good verbal and written communication skills
Project management skills.
Bahraini national is preferred.

Job Description:

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:

Review design drawings and scope of work, ensuring that they are correct and accurate.
Support with structural analysis to ensure the tower is structurally sound and have or develop an understanding of structural regulations around this.
Assist with project management, budgeting, and preparation of proposals.
Provide support and direction for staff engineers, contractors or consultants working on projects.
Manage civil activities for expansion or modification of existing or new network facilities
Review/approve consultant or contractor design submissions for compliance to scope, standards and project specifications.
Visit fields to gather existing conditions information and perform construction inspections
Analyze the purchase of structures and equipment and give his/her recommendations to ensure that it is appropriate for the purposes intended.
Act as a technical resource for the department or cross-functional activities.
Prepare reports on the civil engineering aspects of projects to ensure that decisions are based on the best possible information and take account of all resource implications and time and budgetary constraints.
Maintain knowledge of modern civil engineering techniques and processes and recommend any new systems that will enhance the effectiveness of the civil engineering function.
Perform any other related duties as assigned or needed.
