Job Opportunity at Samsung in UAE: Product Manager

Samsung is offering job opportunity in the United Arab Emirates as Product Manager, that will work to develop/ monitor and expand the business in the market. Working with the Head of Product Management & Business Head, the selected candidate will be involved in all aspects of Product Management.
His/ her responsibilities will include but not be limited to; taking ownership of product management for our Visual Display category by developing product strategies, managing product launches, supply chain management, profit & loss, price positioning, and other related responsibilities.

Eligibility Criteria:

  1. Must hold a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree.
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience in a Product Management role.
  3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  4. Understanding the Consumer Electronics market dynamics and technology.
  5. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public group and or client.
  6. Computer literate and advanced user of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  7. Demonstrates a high level of multitasking efficiency & priority setting.
  8. Ability to read, analyze and interpret data studies.
  9. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, distributors.
  10. Ability to clearly articulate marketing initiatives.
  11. Ability to work under minimum supervision.
  12. Initiative and ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.

Job Duties:

  • Key Objective: Delivering sustainable growth with a strong foundation of sound profitability and market leadership, based on operational excellence.
  • Core Responsibilities:
  1. Product Management
    • Product portfolio/mix management, and pricing strategy development.
    • Forecasting and reporting in various aspects of product management (e.g, sales, inventory, etc).
    • Product specification update and maintenance.
    • Sample management.
  2. Marketing & Promotion
    • GCC countries' sales promotion development.
    • Marketing strategy, product positioning and defining a target market.
    • Product launch management including LLP (local launching plan) development, and target launch date.
  3. Reporting & Analysis
    • Goal and KPI management for business and product marketing.
    • SCM forecasting, preparation of Sub/RHQ/HQ reporting.
    • P&L management, market assessment.
    • Full P&L ownership, trend analysis, competitive landscape, monitoring roadmap.
  4. Confident areas: Marketing strategy, product positioning, and promotion planning.
