Nestle offers an exceptional full-time job opportunity as a Channel Category Sales Development Executive at the Cereal Partners Worldwide (CPW) in Al Khobar in Saudi Arabia for 2020. Cereal Partners Worldwide (CPW) is a leading global breakfast cereal company and the maker of Nestlé breakfast cereals, including global favorites such as NESQUIK®,FITNESS®, CHEERIOS® and CHOCAPIC®. The Executive is responsible for developing strategies that make sure the Cereal products occupy the best space in retailer’s shelves while remaining top of mind to the consumers.

Responsibilities and tasks:

  1. When you get into the office, the first order of business is crunching through numbers. Analysis is a key part of your job. This particular vacancy falls under the cereals business unit, which means you’ll be working with some of the biggest cereals in the world (think Nesquik and Cheerios). The company is looking for someone who can examine different sets of data and shopper behavior against the trade objectives and translate those into information that places it in the most valuable part of the retailers’ shelves. 
  2. You then spend a good portion of your morning collaborating with other stakeholders. The first is the sales team. You’ll organize category roadshows that the sales teams will use to launch new products or exciting line extensions. Naturally, this means you should be someone who’s open to the idea of collaborating and adept at managing relationships.
  3. After lunch, it’s time for a market visit. During these market visits, you’ll be observing point-of-purchase drivers, shelf life, and the competitor’s activities. Based on these shopper observations, you’ll then have to recommend actionable in-store solutions within the trade channels.
  4. At the end of the day, you take stock of budgets and trade spend. Along with other Channel Managers, you’ll track the total trade spend on a monthly basis. Is the company on track with its budget? Does it need to spend more or less to develop a certain cereal or grow the category as a whole? Yours is a job that’s dedicated to providing and implementing those answers.


  1.  3-5 years’ commercial experience growing a brand by means of analyzing data, and using that to make informed sales and marketing decisions.
  2. You have strong analytical skills and are enthusiastic about reading numbers and building an action plans around those numbers
  3. You are an exceptional communicator; you are able to advise, persuade and negotiate, ensuring activities and performance are driving towards your goals every day
  4. You are bilingual (this role needs someone who speaks both English and Arabic)
  5. You have a Bachelor’s degree in Business or any related field and have solid experience in either sales or trade marketing.
  6. You are ambitious and you have a clear will to drive your own career development.  Nestlé is a big organization so the opportunities are endless, as long as you can be clear in communicating your ambitions.
  7. You are passionate about your category, and are able to convey this to the different departments you’ll be collaborating with.
