The Scholarship was established in 2020 by Professor Ian Frazer AC FRS in memory of his parents, Dr Sam and Mrs Marion Frazer.
Both Sam and Marion encouraged their children to think and work independently. They also taught them the importance of giving back
This is a Philanthropic Higher Degree by Research, Top up Scholarship
The scholarship is open to International and Domestic candidates who are successful in receiving a base stipend scholarship to undertake a Higher Degree by Research. There is a preference, though not a requirement, the scholarship benefit those studying in the area of Immunotherapies.

Applicants will be ranked on the basis of:
Scholarship value : $10,000 per annum over the life of the degree.
