Are you passionate about international affairs and interested in a career in the field? The James C. Gaither Junior Fellows Program - through the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace - is an opportunity for students to provide research assistance to scholars working on a variety of subjects. Examples of projects include: Democracy and Rule of Law, U.S. Foreign Policy and Diplomacy, Nuclear Policy, Cyber Policy, and Energy and Climate. The fellowship program will take place in Washington, D.C. and fellows will be hired full-time for one year.
The successful applicant will get substantive work experience in policy research. Potential tasks include conducting research, participating in meetings with high-level officials, and contributing to op-eds, papers, and reports.
Applicants must be officially nominated by their university. See a list of eligible institutions here.
