Expertise in English
Minimum 5 years of journalistic experience or equivalent level or expertise
Eligible Regions: South Africa, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana, Namibia, Brazil, Peru, Colombia, Chile

A personal statement outlining including the applicant’s journalistic values, major trends in the media landscape in which he works, and a summary of what he thinks would contribute to the Fellowship program
A statement of up to 1,000 words explaining their proposed research project
Reference and approval from their employer
A second professional reference
A sample of their work
Recommendations from two people
Three articles or reports, including dates and names of the publication; accompanying with their English translation, it is written in any other language
Applicants in managerial or editorial positions for whom it would be difficult to send work samples has to include a statement of up to 500 words describing your work
