ِACTED offers job opportunity in Lebanon and Jordan as a Consortium Project Officer.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Consortium Coordinator in ensuring regular and open/transparent communication between consortium partners.
- Regularly communicate with Consortium Coordinator and consortium Country Directors on project activities (in Lebanon only).
- Carry out weekly catch-ups with Consortium key focal points (in Lebanon only).
- Support the development and maintenance of a coherent consortium strategy across all partners (in Lebanon only).
- Assist the Consortium Coordinator in promoting harmonization of approaches and methodologies across all consortium partners by developing and monitoring the use of common tools, as well as creating opportunities for experience sharing and learning.
- Coordinate with AME focal points from each Consortium partner organization.
- Upon request from Consortium Coordinator, represent the consortium toward the donor(s) and government authorities and therefore communicate with the donor(s) and government authorities (in Lebanon only).
- Support the Consortium Coordinator and consortium partners in defining project implementation methodologies, assisting the development and/or consolidation of project technical documents and reports (in Lebanon only.
- Report on qualitative and quantitative input, process, output, outcome, impact, objective, and goal-level performance indicators.
Required Qualifications:

Master’s degree
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding communications and negotiation skills.
- Ability to operate in a cross-cultural environment requiring flexibility.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in humanitarian and/or development organizations.
- Experience working in consortia or other complex coordination structures.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills in English.
Desired Qualifications:
- University degree in development/humanitarian related field.
- Experience within the MENA region.
- Experience of implementing MEAL tools within EU funded projects.
- Experience with participatory appraisals and project cycle management.
- Experience within a regional multi-partner consortium.
- Experience as an AME officer in a medium to the large country mission.
- Proficiency in Arabic highly desired.
