The School of Social Science, University of Queensland is offering two Indigenous Honours Scholarships ($15,000 AUD) in archaeology, cultural heritage or palaeoenvironmental projects funded by UQ’s Research Support Program. Projects can include those investigating a wide range of themes, such as Indigenous fire management, past impacts of sea-level change, and protection of heritage resources, among many others. Funding is to help students with living costs and is open to full-time students enrolling in the 2022 academic year. To qualify students must have a Bachelor Degree in Archaeology, Archaeological Science or related discipline.
An applicant is eligible for the Scholarship, if the applicant -

The selection committee must rank the eligible applicants consecutively in order of merit, based on, for each applicant-
(a) the standard of the applicant's academic achievement to date; and
(b) the suitability of the program to be undertaken.
