Institution: Jorge Mas Canosa Freedom Foundation
Purpose: To aid undergraduate and graduate students of Cuban descent who are studying selected subjects.
Eligibility: Applicants must be majoring in or have plans to major in business, communications, economics, engineering, international relations or journalism. They must demonstrate leadership potential and a commitment to success in a democratic, free enterprise society. Selection is based on academic merit, personal essay, leadership ability, professional potential and character.

How to Apply: Applications are available online. An application form, official transcript, SAT scores, personal essay, three recommendation forms, proof of Cuban descent, proof of college acceptance (for incoming freshmen only), cost of tuition statement and statement of financial need are required.
