Purpose: To promote students who have the potential to contribute to the field of optics.
Eligibility: Applicants must be high school, undergraduate or graduate students enrolled full-time in programs in the field of optics, photonics or related discipline (e.g., physics or electrical engineering). Students must be members of SPIE, although they may submit a membership application along with the scholarship application, and high school applicants receive a one-year complimentary membership.
