The Department of Culture in Sharjah invites writers, critics, and those interested in critical research to participate in the Sharjah Prizefor Fine Critical Research under the title "Technical terms in criticism Arab composition." The award focuses on artistic and visual research, highlights the efforts of writers, critics, and academics. It reinforces the role of criticism as a creative parallel to the artistic process. The award aims to follow up on distinctive ideas and stimulate specialized critical research in the fields of plastic and visual arts. It also aims to find a common language between critics on the one hand and the interested reader on the other, in addition to establishing the production and documentation of artistic and visual culture.
The results will be announced in December 2020, and the awards will be distributed during a seminar on the same theme. The winners will be invited to attend the award ceremony and participate in the symposium. The Foundation will finance all costs of attending the winners.
