The Department of Physics at Carnegie Mellon University invites applications for a postdoctoral fellowship position in weak gravitational lensing with Prof. Rachel Mandelbaum.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work broadly in the areas of weak lensing and large-scale structure, including theory predictions; analysis of existing datasets such as HSC; preparation for future datasets such as Rubin Observatorys LSST, Roman Space Telescope, and Euclid; and development of new analysis methodology, including applications of statistics and machine learning in this field.
Applications should include a curriculum vitae, publication list, statement of research interests, and three letters of recommendation. Candidates must submit applications submitted through Interfolio. For full consideration, all materials should be received by November 30, 2020.
