Chalhoub group offers a job opportunity in Kuwait to work as a talent acquisition officer. You will work closely with the assigned business area to fill vacant roles with the right candidates in a timely manner and will be responsible for ensuring applicants have a great experience throughout the process by regularly keeping in touch, following up and providing feedback.

Eligibility:

You must have:

  • University degree in HR, psychology, business administration or any other related field.
  • From 0 to 2 years of experience in the same field or a similar field.
  • The ability to communicate effectively.
  • Developing and managing self-awareness attitude.
  • Drive, entrepreneurship and adaptability skills.
  • Technical competencies required for the role.

Your Responsibilities:

You will be responsible of:

  1. Follow all relevant talent acquisition policies, processes and standard operating procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
  2. Implement activities under close supervision.
  3. Escalate complex problems to the relevant person to ensure case/issue is closed efficiently and in timely a manner.
  4. Address assigned business areas’ recruitment needs in a timely manner.
  5. Meet with and advise hiring managers on best practices in recruitment and selection process.
  6. Adhere to the recruiting and interviewing plan for each open position.
  7. Review applicants’ CVs to evaluate if they meet the position requirements.
  8. Pro-actively source / headhunt for open and potential future positions.
  9. Use relevant selection tools to assess candidates (including CBI, assessment centers, psychometric evaluations and all other applicable tests).
  10. Upkeep relevant records on the applicant tracking system.
  11. Ensure all applicants have a great candidate experience.
  12. Interview and follow up referrals from management and employees.
  13. Build networks and communities.
  14. Provide support on other HR projects that include talent acquisition as and when required.
  15. Participate in relevant projects and community activities as and when needed.
